Progress March 2019
The winter months have not stopped the incredible progress on Project One Campus and King’s High’s new home is really taking shape!
The building work on the state-of-the art main school building is due for completion during July so the finishing touches can be completed over the summer holidays. The brickwork around the building is 90% complete and the ground floor classrooms are finished and ready.
Work has also begun on the fantastic Sport, Art and Technology building; the steel framework is complete and the floors have been concreted. This new building is attached to the Bridge Sports Centre and will include a gym/fitness suite, DT workshops including a CAD suite, art areas and a new exhibition space.
During the Easter holiday, work begins on the high-tech Music School, a shared resource between King’s High and Warwick Prep. This building will house a fully fitted, acoustically designed auditorium seating 144, a recital/practice room and teaching rooms, including a music technology suite.
