3G Rugby PItch
A ground breaking ceremony took place on Thursday 27 September on Warwick School’s playing fields to mark the start of the state-of-the-art 3G rugby pitch.
3G pitches are the most significant and successful development in synthetic surface technology, designed for rugby at both competitive and recreational levels. In 3G turf, the pile, made of artificial grass ‘blades’, is supported by a thin base layer of sand and an infill of rubber crumb.
Pupils of every ability will be able to practise and play on this state-of-the-art rugby pitch.
In addition to this new pitch, there will be a suite of new netball and tennis courts for pupils across the Foundation to use.
