Main King's High School Building

Our New State-of-the-Art Main School Building will include:

  • A multi-functional school hall with capacity for the whole school, retractable bleacher seating for 300. It will be equipped with a sprung timber floor, a full lighting rig, sound system, and blackout capability, will be acoustically tuned primarily for the spoken word, making it an excellent venue for future drama productions.
  • The dining hall is large enough to accommodate 270 covers in any one sitting but has been creatively designed as a multi-functional space, to accommodate receptions or dinners, as well as being a pavilion form which to watch sports matches on the adjoining fields.
  • A wide range of classrooms for the following curriculum subjects: Maths, Science, Humanities, English, Classics, Modern Foreign Languages, Drama, Economics, Business Studies, Psychology and Computing
  • Pastoral bases for Years 7-13
  • Matron's room and sick bay
  • Administrative functions, including reception, school office, exams office 
  • Library 
  • Innovation Centre, including computer labs, seminar rooms and dedicated classroom.
  • Sixth Form seminar rooms for teaching of Economics, Psychology and Business Studies

Our Drama facilities will include two drama studios with sprung floors and changing rooms:

  • A 'black box' studio space
  • A second drama studio with mirrors and dance barres

Our new base for Modern Foreign Languages will include:

  • A suite of language rooms, each with capacity to be a 'language lab' for listening work
  • A sixth form language base with satellite link-up
  • A language oral room - a shared space with Pastoral

King's High & Warwick School's Shared Sixth Form Centre

Preparing our pupils for university includes providing the right environment to make their transition to full independence successful. The new Sixth Form Centre, shared between King’s High and Warwick School, will provide social spaces, study spaces and a Careers Hub, all university-style spaces which will provide the perfect bridge to the next stage of their lives.


Ground Floor:

  • A large social space, including cafe and self-service kitchen
  • Offices for Heads of Sixth Form

First Floor:

  • Careers Hub with interview rooms
  • Group-study spaces

Second Floor:

  • Private study spaces
  • Terrace - a perfect place to take a break between their studies

Sports & Technology Building

The new Sports Centre will be attached to the current Bridge Sports Hall but will include a new range of facilities including:

  • A new gym
  • A fitness suite
  • Changing rooms and locker rooms

In the current Bridge Sports building, the first floor will be refurbished to provide a PE classroom and PE staff facilities and brand new changing rooms.

Sports facilities will also be further enhanced by a new 3G pitch for rugby, and an additional suite of netball and tennis courts.


The Art and Technology teaching area will surround the current Bridge Sports Building with:

  • A new exhibition space
  • 5 specialist Art areas, including a dedicated space for Sixth Form
  • 2 full-size design technology workshops, including a CAD suite
  • A food technology teaching room

King's High & Warwick Prep's Music School

The brand new state-of-the-art Music School will be a shared resource with Warwick Preparatory School allowing the youngest members of our school to benefit from the facilities including:

  • A fully fitted, acoustically designed auditorium, seating 144
  • A recital/practice room
  • Three dedicated class teaching rooms, including a music technology suite
  • A large suite of 14 individual teaching rooms

Improved play space for pupils at Warwick Prep and landscaping across the campus.
